  • Administer laws, regulations and policies pertaining to student attendance for the purpose of meeting requirements set forth by Board policy.
  • Assist staff in meeting the prescribed goals and objectives of the District's curriculum for the purpose of meeting district goals and school improvement goals.
  • Assure legal compliance in the recruiting, screening and hiring of building staff, while providing for site based participation in the procedures for the purpose of following district hiring policies and procedures.
  • Chair meetings (e.g. curriculum, safety, site advisory, special district committees, etc.) for the purpose of coordinating activities and ensuring that outcomes achieve school, district and/or state objectives.
  • Collaborate with administration and cabinet colleagues for the purpose of ensuring effective support and services are in place for classified, certificated staff, students and parents.

What We Offer:
  • Salary: $141,496 - $152,446 (Salary dependent upon education and experience.)

What You'll Need:
  • Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in job-related area.
  • Experience: 2 years as a school administrator preferred. 5 years of successful teaching experience preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Job related experience with increasing responsibilities required.
  • Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Must have a Washington State Administrator Certificate and WA State Teaching Certificate.

Work Environment

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 50% sitting, 25% walking, and 25% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
