Abraham Joshua Heschel School is seeking a full-time math teacher for our high school division for the 2025-26 school year.
Abraham Joshua Heschel School, located in New York City, is an independent, pluralistic Jewish Day School, N-12, unaffiliated with any single movement or synagogue. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years experience teaching at various levels and across grades 9-12. An MA in Mathematics or a closely related field is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate facility and passion in teaching a range of math courses, including Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry , Precalculus and Calculus. Applicants must be able to work with technology in the classroom in an integrative and engaging way. Candidates also need to be able to serve effectively as a student advisor, facilitating student growth outside the classroom.

The full-time equivalent salary range is $65,000 - $110,000, depending on years of experience.
