GENERAL PURPOSE FOR THE POSITION
This position is for a Highway Engineer to serve Dawood's Highway/Traffic Group. Successful candidate will report to the Manager of Highway Services and will work directly with Highway Designers and CAD Technicians to develop Roadway Construction Plans and a wide variety of related deliverables.

3. Cross Sections
4. Utility Coordination
5. Pavement Design
6. Guiderail Design
7. Drainage Design
8. Stormwater Management Design
9. E&S Plans
10. Traffic Control Plans
11. Signing and Pavement Marking Plans
12. ADA Ramp Design and Reviews
13. Highway Occupancy Permit Plans and Reviews
14. Highway Lighting Design

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
? General educational background without high school completion
? Equivalent to four years in high school
? Equivalent to four years in high school, plus specialized training equal to two years of college
? Four year college degree (B.A., B.S., B.S.B.A., etc.)
? Graduate degree (M.B.A., M.S., M.A., etc.)
? Professional degree (J.D., Ph.D., etc.)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
? 0-6 months related experience and/or training
? 7-12 months related experience and/or training
? 1-3 years related experience and/or training
? 3-5 years related experience and/or training
? 5-7 years related experience and/or training
? 7-9 years related experience and/or training
? 9-15 years related experience and/or training
? 15 or more years related experience and/or training
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED
