The Communications Manager roles and responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the Workday Project Communication Strategy.
  • Develop and maintain the communication plan and roadmap for the Workday project.
  • Write and deliver project and organizational communications across all communication vehicles.
  • Update and support deliverables for the Workday Change Management Plan.
  • Develop/deliver project communication materials with the client's team, aligning with the organization's brand and messaging standards.
  • Update and support the roadmap for overall communications efforts.
  • Coordinate with the change management/transformation leads, to support all project communication activities.
  • Escalate items to the PMO, ERP project director and sponsors, as appropriate. Participate in PMO, executive and sponsor meetings and activities.
  • This role works closely with functional communications specialists/managers, including IT and HR, to ensure that all communication efforts are aligned and integrated across the organization, and is responsible for managing the flow of information between departments.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-faceted communication plans involving multiple stakeholders and audiences.
  • Experience writing for print and online channels (e.g., newsletters; flyers; brochures; websites; blogs; etc.).
  • Perform other duties as required.
