Wells Fargo is seeking a Hogan IDS Lead Software Engineer in Consumer Technology as part of Enterprise Product and Pricing to support the product area. Learn more about career areas and business divisions at www.wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role, you will:
  • Be a key technical SME and partner with different stakeholders like development teams, architecture, change management, control owners and other cross-functional teams to drive and deliver Enterprise Data and Platforms strategies
  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor


Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong and broad technical background in system & test design, defect remediation, understanding feature / stories, creating functional and non-functional requirements, coordinate testing exercises with external dependencies and upper environments
  • Deep expertise in Hogan IDS
  • Strong Mainframe and COBOL development skills
  • Expertise with JCL, NDM and IBM Utilities
  • Ability to resolve complex problems and complete complex coding assignments
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to train junior developers
  • Experience in Agile delivery/methodology/tooling role including feature decomposition and refinement
  • Ability to manage efforts that require integration of multiple technology systems, operations, or processes
  • Experience with z/OS Connect and APIs
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies, including static/dynamic testing
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse, geographically distributed team (including onshore and offshore)

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
