We are currently seeking a Hospice Patient Care Manager / Quality Assurance (QAPI) Manager (RN) in the Encino area who shares our passion for providing dignified, compassionate end-of-life care. This position will be responsible for Hospice Quality Assurance (QAPI) activities.

The non-negotiables:
  • Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid state license
  • Minimum of one year's experience in health care management, ideally in Hospice
  • A valid Driver's License and auto insurance
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, reliable transportation, and willingness to drive to patient's location
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must clear a criminal background check, physical and drug screening

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with the Director of Patient Care Services to provide an on-going, comprehensive assessment of the quality of care and services provided and coordinate the implementation of the program's Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Plan as well as complete related audits and studies
  • Work with the patients, families, and interdisciplinary team to start patients on Silverado hospice services
  • Review all incidents, concerns and grievances to ensure appropriate follow-up and documentation have occurred
  • Conduct regular QAPI meetings, report findings and coordinate development of action plans
  • Comply with hospice policies and procedures, laws and regulations and standards of practice and maintain current regulation information


  • The Patient Care Manager fills a management position with both clinical and management responsibility for his/her team
  • Serves as liaison to and conduit between the Director of Patient Care Services, clinical staff on his/her respective team, patients and their families, and the community
  • Responsible for stepping in and providing routine patient care in the absence of other Clinical staff members in the field

Anticipated pay range

$125,000-$135,000 USD
