Hospice Marketing and Sales Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Hospice Marketing and Sales Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be integral in promoting our hospice care services within the Kansas and Missouri sides of the KC Metro area. This is a direct hire position for candidates who demonstrate a deep understanding of hospice care, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in hospice or home health sales. The ideal candidate is someone who is energetic, empathetic, and capable of fostering strong relationships with medical professionals and community partners to drive referrals and uphold our commitment to providing exceptional end-of-life care.

Salary: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Engage and interact with health professionals and community partners to promote our hospice programs and services.
  • Develop, establish, and maintain effective relationships with physicians, hospitals, nursing facilities, and other health care providers who can refer patients to hospice care.
  • Implement strategic sales and marketing plans to effectively cover the assigned territory and meet set targets.
  • Use Contact Management software to maintain records of all interactions and assess the effectiveness of the sales strategies.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns quickly and efficiently to maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Participate in community events to raise awareness about hospice care and educate the community on the services provided.
  • Regular reporting on sales activities, referral conversion rates, and other relevant performance metrics.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in hospice and/or home health sales.
  • Local resident with established networks in the healthcare and hospice industry.
  • Proficiency in using Contact Management software and other sales tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and business objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization and with external partners.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Background in medical, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to lead.
  • Advanced training in relevant fields (e.g., healthcare management, sales, marketing).
  • Knowledge of the local healthcare system and hospice care regulations.
