An acute care hospital in Georgia is actively seeking a Hospital Risk Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position where the Hospital Risk Manager will be a direct-hire employee for a reputable healthcare organization.

The Hospital Risk Manager will work onsite Monday through Friday, based out of an acute care, community hospital in Georgia. Reporting to the Senior Director, responsibilities of the Hospital RN Risk Manager include risk identification, mitigation and harm reduction. Responsibilities of the Hospital RN Risk Manager include performing Root Cause Analyses (RCA), effectively communicating findings and recommendations to the VP and executive leaders, maintaining the risk management information database and confidential records, conducting reviews and audits, collecting and analyzing appropriate data, and preparing reports that explain tends, analysis, and recommendations.
The Hospital Risk Manager should have previous claims, legal and risk experience in healthcare, ideally within a hospital setting. The Hospital Risk Manager will be bachelors prepared, and a big plus would be if the Hospital Risk Manager held or would be open to obtaining their CPHRM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management Certification.
