Direct Counsel is seeking a Hospitality Associate to join a highly respected full-service law firm with a nationally recognized Hospitality, Travel & Tourism practice. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a leader in the space and support clients ranging from global hotel brands to cruise lines, travel agencies, tour operators, and restaurants.
In this role, you'll advise on a broad array of operational and commercial matters, with a strong emphasis on IT/IS agreements, marketing and distribution, privacy/data security, and procurement. The right candidate will bring a strong commercial transactions background and a client-first mindset, ready to contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Direct Counsel is seeking a Hospitality Associate to join a highly respected full-service law firm with a nationally recognized Hospitality, Travel & Tourism practice. In this role, you'll advise on a broad array of operational and commercial matters, with a strong emphasis on IT/IS agreements, marketing and distribution, privacy/data security, and procurement. Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including technology, marketing, and vendor contracts
- Counsel clients on distribution and procurement issues within the hospitality and travel sectors
- Address regulatory and compliance matters related to privacy and data security
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff across the firm
- Maintain and grow client relationships in a fast-moving, client-facing practice
- 5-8 years of commercial transactions experience, ideally in the hospitality, travel, or lodging sectors
- Strong familiarity with marketing, distribution, procurement, and IT/IS contracts
- Working knowledge of privacy, IP, and data security laws preferred
- Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills
- Must be licensed to practice in Washington, or eligible for waiver
- Base salary: $205,000-$250,000, depending on experience
