Position Overview: As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement within our renewable battery manufacturing company. You will collaborate closely with business leaders and HR colleagues to implement HR initiatives, programs, and policies that support our mission, foster a positive work culture, and attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Strategic HR Planning:
    • Partner with senior management to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support long-term organizational objectives.
    • Identify workforce trends, challenges, and opportunities to drive continuous improvement and innovation in HR practices.
  • Retention:
    • Develop and implement retention strategies to nurture talent, promote career development, and reduce turnover.
  • Performance Management:
    • Design and implement performance management systems and processes to set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and drive employee development and accountability.
    • Support managers in identifying performance gaps, coaching employees, and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
    • Resolve employee relations issues effectively, ensuring fair and consistent treatment while mitigating legal and compliance risks.
  • Learning and Development:
    • Collaborate with department heads to assess training needs and develop learning initiatives that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and competencies.
    • Facilitate leadership development programs and succession planning efforts to build a pipeline of future leaders.
  • HR Analytics and Reporting:
    • Utilize HR data and metrics to monitor key HR indicators, track progress against goals, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management to communicate HR insights, trends, and recommendations.
  • Employee Engagement and Culture:
    • Lead initiatives to promote a positive work environment, employee engagement, and a strong organizational culture aligned with our values and mission.
    • Plan and coordinate employee events, recognition programs, and other activities that foster camaraderie and teamwork.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
    • Advise management on HR policies and procedures.
    • Monitor HR Metrics and recommend actions to mitigate risk.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HRBP or HR generalist in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably within the renewable energy or battery technology sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business needs into HR initiatives and programs.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.


Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion. The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.

Expected Pay Range

$100,000-$120,000 USD
