Description:
An employer in Carlsbad, CA is looking for an HR Business Partner. The Site HR Business Partner will partner closely with the HR Director and site leadership to develop and implement HR solutions to meet business needs in areas such as organization and workforce effectiveness, talent and leadership development and employee engagement. This individual will be front line communication with employees and will also liaise with corporate COEs on executing HR needs pertaining to payroll, benefits, workers compensation etc. Additionally, this individual will contribute to HR strategy and policy, manage HR programs to enable the company to attract, develop and retain high-caliber employees, and serve as an internal partner to line managers on HR issues, in alignment with the Americas HR Services team as appropriate. This is a full-time role starting out on contract, and requires full-time onsite attendance.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of progressive professional level human resources experience as an HR Business Partner or Generalist
- Experience working within an organization with both exempt and non-exempt employees
- Experience working closely with leadership on disciplinary coaching, training, talent development, and career succession
- Experience with employee relations issues such as: investigations, complaints, concerns, terminations etc.
- Experience with employee engagement programs and event coordination, building morale, strengthening relationships, and improving collaboration
- Experience putting together presentations
- Well versed with MS Office suite including: Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience with Workday, or similar HRIS system
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Self-starter approach with ability to take initiative and run independently with projects and tasks
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience in Manufacturing company
- Experience working with corporate COE teams (ex: payroll, benefits, workmans comp)
- Bachelor's Degree, or HR certifications
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
