Join the global leader in seismic data and insights, in a high-profile People & Culture role to partner with our largest revenue generating business units. As a member of the People & Culture team, the successful individual will be responsible for acting as a key advisor on complex HR matters, balancing the needs of the business line and the overarching People & Culture goals of the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide strategic HR leadership for the assigned client group to ensure that the company has the structure, culture and talent needed to achieve its business goals and objectives. Secure end-to-end delivery across Business Unit.
Contribute to holistic approach to for the broader company and People & Culture delivery model. Ensure that HR is in step with client groups' strategy and their needs and that challenges are represented and considered. As well as ensuring the client group is operating consistently with the global, corporate strategy and objectives.
Advise business unit leaders and serve as point-of-contact for global business units and help implement business unit's workforce strategy with respect to recruitment, retention, succession planning, engagement, organizational development, etc.
Embrace Leads continuous improvement and application of new tools and methods in line with People strategy.
Coordinate closely with all other HRBPs to ensure fairness and alignment across the company and support global People strategy. Ability to share knowledge and coach other HR team members as needed.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management or related field required.
Certified HR Professional is considered an asset
5 + years of experience in HR business partner role
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Communication: Clearly and concisely conveys thought processes and information to HR and client group in a globally diverse, virtual, cross-cultural environment. Ability to influence and build relationships with staff across the Company. Strong interpersonal skills to manage sensitive employee issues and resolve conflicts effectively.
Knowledge: The ability to provide expert advice, coaching and consulting on HR and business issues. Knowledge of employment laws, company policies and procedures, HR trends and best practice. Ability to explain complex HR policies and concepts in simple terms.
Business acumen and strategic thinking: The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures with the agility to effect continuous improvement driven by a real curiosity for the business area to them.
