This role will be responsible for supporting daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, managing employee relations, and assisting in the implementation of HR policies and procedures. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role will be responsible for supporting daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, managing employee relations, and assisting in the implementation of HR policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Administer and maintain HRIS systems and employee records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist in recruitment efforts including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding
- Support employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and recommending resolutions
- Manage benefits administration, open enrollment, and respond to employee benefits inquiries
- Assist in performance management processes and employee development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Prepare HR reports and metrics as needed
- Coordinate and support training and development programs
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and company culture-building activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role
- Solid understanding of labor laws and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, Workday)
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
