The HR Manager role is an in-office position based at our Irvine office, ideal for candidates within a commutable distance. This full-time, exempt role offers a pay range of $90,000.00 - $110,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that this position is not open to candidates requiring visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:
The HR Manager must be able to perform the following tasks:
- Establish and lead the HR department, creating processes and best practices from the ground up.
- Manage payroll and commission structures, ensuring timely and accurate processing in compliance with regulations.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment efforts, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding top-tier talent.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive company culture.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing strategic HR guidance and support.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and industry regulations.
- Implement and manage HRIS systems to streamline HR operations and data reporting.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management to drive a high-performing team.
- Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and retention.
- Ensure a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience to improve overall employee satisfaction.
The HR Manager must have the following experiences:
- 5+ years of HR leadership experience, with a strong background in payroll, recruitment, and HR operations.
- Proven experience in the financial services industry or a similar fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of California labor laws, payroll regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a high-growth company.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS, payroll software, and recruitment platforms.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SHRM or HRCI certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.).
- Experience leading HR functions in a high-growth, fast-scaling company.
