Essential Functions and Primary Duties
Develop productive and collaborative working relationships with CBIZ associates, HR peers and
Corporate HR partners advancing performance through efficient planning, training and engagement
of talent
Responsible for recruitment process, selection, and assimilation of new hires through on boarding
Administer performance management system and compensation
Respond to employee relations matters to include allegations of harassment allegations in
partnership with HR Director or member of Corporate HR
Conduct employee investigations and corrective action meetings in conjunction with hiring manager,
HR Director or member of Corporate HR
Communicate and assist in the administration of various HR programs, including; salary
administration, health & welfare benefits, performance appraisal. planning, and other key programs
Consult with management and associates on employment issues and legal compliance
Serve as liaison with associates and Employee Service Center resolving benefit matters
Conduct all exit interviews and coordinate unemployment claims
Could be a primary user of HRIS
Maintain secure personnel files
May supervise HR staff
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of increasingly responsible HR management experience preferred or high school diploma or GED with 5 years experience as strong HR generalist background required. PHR/SPHR preferred
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
Demonstrated ability in negotiation and conflict resolution
Proficient use of applicable technology
Strong organizational skills, ability to multi -tasking and prioritize
Must have attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
The annual salary target for this job in this market is $84,000-120,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skillset of the individual selected for this position.
