General Statement of Duties
This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with Title IX regulations and fostering a safe and respectful educational environment free from discrimination based on sex or gender. Conducts investigations related to allegations of discrimination and/or harassment of protected classes (Title VI, Title VII, Title II ADA, ADEA, Section 504) and sexual harassment (Title IX) for employees and students. Monitor s , review s and evaluate s personnel policies and practices of the School Divi sion to ensure compliance with Federal and S tate laws and administrative regulations .

Minimum Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES : Experience in a compliance role, preferably in a n educational setting; i n-depth knowledge of Title IX regulations and related federal and state laws ; s trong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills ; e xcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information ; thorough knowledge of research, data analysis and report presentation techniques; knowledge of current Federal and State laws and regulations applicable to public school employment; ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects .
E DUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Bachelor's Degree in appropriate related field or a combination of education and extensive work experience comparable to a four-year degree required . Master's Degree and Current PHR/SPHR or CCP certification preferred.

Essential Duties
- Serves as the primary point of contact for Title IX inquiries and issues within the school division.
- Ensures policies align with federal and state regulations as related to Title IX compliance.
- Receives and processes complaints related to allegations of discrimination and/or harassment of protected classes and sexual harassment (Title IX).
- Conducts investigations related to allegations of discrimination and/or harassment of protected classes and sexual harassment (Title IX) for employees and students.
- Maintains detailed records of all complaints and investigations.
- Trains employees in protected class discrimination and sexual discrimination and harassment Title IX to include reporting procedures.
- Assists, discusses with, and advises the Chief of Human Resources on allegation reports and investigation outcomes.
- Coordinates and facilitates the Grievance Process for Sexual Discrimination or Harassment Prohibited by Title IX in accordance with School Board policies.
- Assists the Disciplinary Hearing Review Office in developing and updating the explanation of sexual harassment code.
- Interprets School policy and procedure.
- Maintains a close working relationship with HR Specialists, principals, and directors.
- Ensures that legal and compliance information, including legal posters and postings, are displayed in division schools and offices. Tracks and updates the Human Resources Department on changes and updates in employment laws. Reviews policies, job descriptions, and other documents for compliance.
- Responds to questionnaires, surveys, and requests for information in area of assigned responsibility.
- Responds to subpoena requests.
- Promotes a culture of respect and inclusivity.
- Performs other assigned tasks or related work as required and as assigned by the Chief of Human Resources.
