About The Role As an HR Supervisor, you'll oversee two critical functions:
- HR Solutions Center (HRSC) - Lead a customer-focused Tier 1 HR service team that provides seamless support to employees, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Expertise. This team is responsible for Tier 1 support including but not limited to the following areas:
- HR records management
- HR Information Systems
- Organizational Development
- Onboarding and offboarding
- Benefit administration
- Personnel record changes
- Employee inquiries
- Recruiting - Drive a strategic and proactive talent acquisition function that attracts top talent to serve our city. Your approach goes beyond hiring and leading; it's about supporting the team in the discovery of hidden gems, game-changers, and visionaries to ensure our city not only functions but thrives, aligning with our commitment to growth and excellence. You will:
- Forecast staffing needs
- Work extensively on recruiting strategies
- Lead sourcing initiatives and manage partnerships with community partners
- Coordinate branding efforts to position the City as an employer of choice.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related area of study
- Three years of full-time, progressively responsible experience in human resources, including experience in recruitment, talent acquisition and/or in an HR Tier 1 service delivery environment.
- Twoyears of supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in government HR operations.
- Hands-on experience with NeoGov, and HR PeopleSoft.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
- Possess an HR Certification (Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), or equivalent)
