Job Summary
The HRIS Analyst configures and maintains systems, data, workflows, and reporting to support implementation, maintenance, audits, and analysis, of assigned HR Information Systems (HRIS) platforms including those that support payroll, timekeeping, benefits, recruiting, personnel records, training, onboarding, and financial reporting.

Job Summary
The HRIS Analyst configures and maintains systems, data, workflows, and reporting to support implementation, maintenance, audits, and analysis, of assigned HR Information Systems (HRIS) platforms including those that support payroll, timekeeping, benefits, recruiting, personnel records, training, onboarding, and financial reporting.
Primary Objectives
- Manage data infrastructure for sustainable, efficient, and accurate data flow and integration across systems.
- Evaluate and optimize system features, settings, tables, and data organization to ensure accurate and accountable transaction processing in compliance with corporate policy, preferred practice, and collective bargaining agreement provisions.
- Monitor and audit data and workflows to rapidly identify and correct errors and omissions.
- Provide root cause analysis, troubleshooting, documentation, and user support.
- Perform HRIS administration and user support including, but not limited to, setup of new users, change of access requests, and troubleshooting system functionality.
- Manage configuration, setup, updates, and maintenance of system tables, data sets, and mass changes to employee-level data.
- Provide timely, effective day-to-day user support for HRIS applications and data tools, including complex troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Perform data audits, quality monitoring, and data calculations; research, resolve, and document data discrepancies.
- Create, modify, and distribute routine to moderately complex ad-hoc reports, charts, and data files, including systematic analysis of large data sets from multiple sources.
- Create and update system documentation, job aids, data dictionaries, file specifications, work processes, and end-user guides and resources.
- Develop and manage accurate, timely flow of data files, integrations, and reports to vendors, business units, IT, and system users.
- Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, documentation of issue resolution, and end-user training, reference materials, and support.
- Analyze, interpret, and apply project requirements, end user specifications, regulations, policies, collective bargaining agreements, and business unit requests to create and update system setup, calculation rules, and reporting processes.
- Manage and coordinate data validation and testing of system setup and rules design to ensure that information is consistent with defined needs.
- Perform complex data manipulation and aggregation of data from various systems, including query development, use of complex formulas, and derived values.
- Research, recommend, implement, and document improvements to system functionality and data management processes to optimize system utilization, controls, and end-user utility.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources, including consultants, vendors, and project teams, to support efficient execution of implementations, enhancements, and data projects.
- Provide end user training as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of coursework and experience in a directly related field required
- 3+ years' experience in a HRIS administration position with responsibility for managing data and creating complex system-generated reports required
- Experience with UKG/UltiPro strongly preferred
- Experience administrating Time and Attendance systems strongly preferred
- Experience with HRIS implementation projects preferred
- Strong understanding of HR and Payroll standards, regulations, processes, and data requirements.
- Knowledge of appropriate practices and privacy requirements relating to the handling, storage, and transmission of confidential employee and organization data and records.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse participants across multiple disciplines to achieve business goals.
- Ability to effectively articulate and explain features, processes, calculations, and configurations to non-technical end users/clients.
- Ability to manage and coordinate deliverables for multiple projects and requests, and to efficiently manage large volumes of complex data.
- Ability to interpret documentation, business requirements, policy, and contract language and translate into system rules, specifications, and calculations.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to recognize, evaluate, and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw logical conclusions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise a high level of tact and discretion.
- Strong understanding of and proficiency in query writing skills including knowledge of SQL, HRIS reporting tools, and expression building functions.
- Understanding of relational databases, database schema, intermediate proficiency in creating and using queries.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products at the following levels: ? Excel: Advanced level of skill ? Access/Power BI, Word, Outlook, Visio: Intermediate level of skill
