Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Workday HRMS Analyst III focused on Workday configuration, system optimization, and client satisfaction. The Analyst is responsible for resolving complex issues, leading system enhancements, and driving functional improvements across key Workday modules including HCM, Integrations, Reporting, Security, and Performance Management. Our Analysts work across nearly all modules of Workday - including those planned for upcoming implementations - offering valuable opportunities to build hands-on experience and deepen functional expertise across multiple areas. They work closely with business partners to understand requirements, implement solutions, and ensure accurate data flow and system integrity. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can translate business needs into system solutions while maintaining high standards of support and documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the Workday HRMS application by owning end-to-end resolution of complex issues and configuration requests, while providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Deliver exceptional service to internal clients by proactively identifying needs, recommending solutions, and implementing process improvements aligned with Workday best practices - building long-term stakeholder trust.
  • Lead the analysis, design, and testing of Workday enhancements, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop, configure, and maintain EIBs and related tools to support efficient data loading and integration across systems.
  • Provide advanced support for integrations and downstream data flow, including troubleshooting and recommending improvements to ensure system interoperability and data consistency.
  • Drive continuous improvement of Workday configuration, processes, and user experience, identifying opportunities for innovation and system optimization.
  • Take ownership of Workday security configuration and audits, including the creation and maintenance of user- and role-based security groups.
  • Drive Workday release management by leading analysis and testing, assessing new features, coordinating stakeholder readiness, and promoting user adoption through education and support.
  • Maintain and enhance detailed documentation of HRMS procedures, configuration decisions, and system updates to support sustainability and knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure compliance with internal change control processes and audit requirements through thorough documentation and controls.
  • Create, enhance, and maintain advanced Workday reports (including Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports), dashboards, and analytics tools for key stakeholders.
  • Implement reporting standards and practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with privacy and security policies.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday across multiple modules
  • Expertise in HCM and performance management Workday modules; strong proficiency in reporting and security modules.
  • Proven ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team environment through knowledge sharing, supporting peers and mentoring junior team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead small-to-medium Workday initiatives or configuration projects from planning through execution
  • Experience with EIBs, data loads, and integrations across HR systems
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting complex issues and developing effective, scalable solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach to problem-solving
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle process and experience participating in structured system implementations
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity and process compliance
  • Proficiency in benefits, payroll, absence, and timekeeping Workday modules preferred

Salary:

The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $134,000.
