What You Will Be Doing:This position serves as the Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) for the Department of Public Safety (DPS), providing strategic workforce management and planning services as well as managing employee relations for commissioned staff. The DPS HR Business Partner is an integral part of the senior leadership team and oversees many projects aligned with the department's workforce recruitment and retention goals. You will serve as a liaison between upper management, supervisors, centralized HR operations centers of expertise, and employees to enact human resources initiatives and programs while fostering a healthy and respectful workplace culture.
