Description:
The Human Resources Director will provide executive leadership and help oversee employee recruitment, employee retention, compensation, employee relations, benefit administration, consultant management, and organizational development. This position will be based out of Lone Mountain Ranch in Big Sky Montana, Full Time.
Essential Functions:
Assist LMR with external recruiting process for new Team Members; including job requisitions, recruiting and advertising of open positions, interviews, job fairs, and job offers.
Create and communicate policies, practices and legal requirements
Oversees HR functions pertaining to LMR.
Responsible for employee relations matters including onboarding, terminations, exiting of seasonal employees, and the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues and complaints.
Design, develop and implement company-wide training programs; facilitate annual Discrimination & Harassment Prevention Policy.
Responsible for Human Resources Department budget.
Work with payroll processor for semi- monthly payroll executions.
Manage the Employee Housing function where applicable in the property portfolio.
Act as LMR's liaison with workers' compensation carrier to insure prompt and thorough review of open claims and to ensure that claims are closed as quickly as possible.
Ensure Wages, Tips, and compensation follow all local, state, and federal Department of Labor regulations regarding Auric Road employment.
Position may include other administrative duties as they may arise.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of college or technical school and experience preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years related Human Resources experience is required.
- Experience in hotel, resort or restaurant industry highly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Comprehensive knowledge of all applicable federal, state, (MT) employment and labor laws. Knowledge in CA employment law preferred.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service skills in dealing with guests and team members.
- Must demonstrate initiative-ability to think, work, and make independent decisions, based on sound judgment.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected.
