Job Summary: The Human Resources Department supports the organization mission through the development and implementation of policies, programs, and practices that attract, compensate, support, retain, and reward staff. HR provides services to the Pipeline businesses, promoting best practices, forming strategic partnerships, fostering innovation, investing in infrastructure, establishing efficient systems, fostering engagement and pursuing continuous improvement.
The HR Director will have management oversight of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, and the HR Service Center. The HR Director will manage HR processes, ensure regulatory compliance, implement strategies that support business growth, improve morale and employee retention, enhance recruitment strategies, ensure safety and wellness, strengthen relations between staff and managers, manage job satisfaction, and promote the organization's values.
The HR Director will partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals and create positive relationships that support a dynamic culture. This position serves as an integral part of the Clinical and Operations leadership teams by providing a comprehensive human resource and influences leaders to execute operational and strategic business goals.

Essential Functions:
- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruitment, and retention.
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, recruitment and retention, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, organizational morale; workplace safety, compliance requirements and training and development.
- Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS), Applicant Tracking System, and other resources as available.
- Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
- Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
- Uses clear, concise, professional communication with coworkers, patients, all customers internal and external.
- Uses AIDET in interactions with patients and family members.
- Acts with a sense of urgency when performing tasks.
- Basic unit/department maintenance such as keeping files, drawers, cabinets free from unnecessary clutter.
- Reports on any equipment and or environmental issues for repair.
- Abides by HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations.
- Speaks up to stop the line and escalates potential safety events if necessary.
- Completes and attends monthly training assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:
- At least five (5) years of experience in a Human Resources leadership role, required.
- Experience in Healthcare, preferred.
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, strong organizational skills, ability to follow verbal instructions, and PC (computer) skills.
- A capacity to learn, synthesize, make critical judgments, work independently, place patients and families first, and collaborate with the team members who are recognized leaders within healthcare.
