We are excited to be recruiting for new talent to join our growing and innovative team - a Human Resources Director! In this role, the HR Director will be responsible for the daily functions of the HR department. This position provides human resources support to the organization by providing guidance and management oversight on employee relations, performance management systems, compensation management, benefits administration, organizational development, and training.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Reviews and makes recommendations to the executive leadership team for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters
  • Creates and drives employee engagement initiatives to include company and community events
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization's compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters
  • Communicates changes in the organization's personnel policies and procedures and ensures that they are adhered to
  • Assists executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of the organization's compensation program to include maintaining position descriptions
  • Works directly with managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters
  • Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development for the organization
  • Manages the company's social media initiatives
  • Develops training on a variety of topics as it affects employees and management
  • Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; and maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations
  • Oversees the onboarding process including review of company policies and benefit plans and collection and processing of new hire paperwork
  • Oversees the offboarding process including conducting the exit interview and processing separation paperwork
  • Oversees the recruiting and hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications
  • Manages bi-weekly payroll entries for all organizations including confirming any employee self-service (ESS) changes
  • Oversees the administration of benefits across all organizations including processing life events and new hire benefits enrollment; processing annual open enrollment elections; and reconciling monthly bills
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
  • Manages education and training reimbursement benefit
  • Manages the performance management program by creating the schedule, ensuring the system is configured and overseeing the processing compensation increases, promotions, and transitions
  • Manages verifications for employment (VOE) when necessary
  • Responds to general inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, timecards, etc. from employees and leadership at various levels of the organizations
  • Manages the performance and expectations of subordinates
  • Assesses performance both formally and informally
  • Provides mentoring, coaching and discipline when necessary
  • Makes recommendations for hires, promotions, terminations, and demotions
  • Provides input regarding compensation
  • Approves time off requests and time keeping records
  • Files soft and hard copy documents appropriately


Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must posses the following:
  • At least five years of experience providing human resource management to a dynamic organization
  • An HR certification is required
  • A HS diploma or equivalent is required, however a Bachelor's degree in human resources management or business administration is preferred.

Pay Range

$130,000 - $140,000 per year

The above pay range represents a general guideline; however, Belmont Point Management, LLC considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
