This role is responsible for overseeing a range of HR programs and services covering recruitment, employment training and development, compensation and benefits, health and safety, and employee relations for the facility.

Hood Packaging is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Manager for our Tifton, GA location. This role is responsible for overseeing a range of HR programs and services covering recruitment, employment training and development, compensation and benefits, health and safety, and employee relations for the facility.
Functional Responsibilities
- Provide a recruiting service to ensure necessary manpower and skills.
- Review and take action to ensure employment is effectively managed according to company policy, law and regulations.
- Evaluate training needs and source programs, arrange training and conduct in-house training as needed.
- Administer Company and government employee benefit plans and support salaried employee compensation programs.
- Provide leadership and support to Health & Safety activities.
- Ensure the appropriate application of laws and company policies.
Functional Requirements
- Regular use of computers, telephones & misc. office equipment
- Must organize complex tasks & meet deadlines.
Education & Experience
- College Diploma/Associates Degree and 5- 7 years HR generalist experience preferably in an industrial environment OR more than 10 years' experience in a similar role in an industrial environment.

- Solid understanding of business fundamentals
