Reporting to the People Director - Americas, the Human Resources Manager performs Human Resources (HR) support for the organization. The Manager performs a wide range of HR duties including, but not limited to, employee relations, talent development, career pathing, internship programs, reporting and analytics, talent acquisition, compensation, and benefits.

Reporting to the People Director - Americas, the Human Resources Manager performs Human Resources (HR) support for the organization. The Manager performs a wide range of HR duties including, but not limited to, employee relations, talent development, career pathing, internship programs, reporting and analytics, talent acquisition, compensation, and benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide general knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures to all levels of management and employees. Create trust by handling all information with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion. Provide thorough communication, determining when to escalate a situation.
- Implement Global and Americas' region HR strategies for the U.S.
- Manage employee relations practices to maintain company culture and core values.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and concerns. Collaborate with the HR Director and Legal department when necessary.
- Collaborate with managers to create career pathing and training opportunities for team members. Assist with creation, communication, and follow-up of the employee development process. Meet with management and staff on program objectives, procedures, and practices.
- Monitor changes in labor laws to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Partner with managers to establish and communicate Human Resource policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assist Talent Acquisition Lead when needed to create job descriptions, source, screen or interview candidates. Recommend appropriate salary and benefit packages. Ensure employees and candidates meet established company and regulatory employment policies and standards.
- Assist Benefits and Administration Lead with input, updates, and maintenance of data in HRIS. Process action changes (i.e., compensation data, terminations, hires, promotions, training) that create a change in the employee's HR record in a timely manner. Maintain and update employee and position information in HRIS. Prepare and analyse reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department and company.
- In conjunction with the HR Director and Benefits Lead; review benefit offerings annually and analyse options to provide the best packages for the team.
- Coordinate and manage other special projects as assigned.
- Travel to branch locations throughout the U.S.
Minimum requirements
- College degree in related area or equivalent education and work experience.
- Minimum four years Human Resource experience in a multi-site organization.
- Strong decision-making ability with excellent customer focus.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated organizational skills including ability to prioritize workload, delegate to others, and balance conflicting priorities and tasks.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Competency in PC, spreadsheets, and database applications (including Microsoft Office Suite).
- Demonstrated quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems including managing merit increases, bonuses, and performance reviews.
- Available for overnight travel up to once per month.
Preferred Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources Generalist position
- Experience with Paycor or Oracle Fusion
- Experience in Logistics or Warehousing
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification
- Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.
