Human Resources Manager

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead key HR initiatives that support our automotive retail business. This role partners closely with senior leaders, drives HR programs, and leads a team of HR professionals.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with Leadership: Act as a trusted HR business partner, working with senior leaders on workforce planning, talent management, and HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Supervise HR Team: Lead and support a team of HR professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery across the organization.
- Lead HR Projects: Oversee key HR initiatives like performance management, leadership development, and employee engagement programs.
- Support Acquisitions: Manage the HR side of acquisitions, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Drive Talent Acquisition: Lead the Talent Acquisition team, developing targeted recruitment strategies for critical and revenue-generating roles. Partner with hiring managers to build a strong candidate pipeline through proactive sourcing, networks, and partnerships, while streamlining processes and enhancing the candidate experience.
- Manage Employee Relations: Collaborate with the Employee Relations team to navigate complex issues and provide sound advice.
- Execute Change: Lead organizational change efforts, helping teams adapt and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Leverage Data: Use HR metrics and analytics to drive decision-making, identify trends, and measure the impact of HR initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
- Certification as a Human Resources Professional (CHRP), or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership role (preferred).
- Proven experience as an HR business partner, providing strategic HR support to leadership.
- Strong working knowledge of employment legislation, including employment standards, occupational health and safety, labour relations, and human rights.
- Experience with union and labour relations is an asset.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing HR projects, driving change, and supporting acquisitions.
- A collaborative, solution-oriented approach to challenges, with the ability to balance business needs and employee advocacy.
- Passion for automotive retail and an understanding of the unique demands of the industry.
