POSITION SUMMARY

SET ACTIVE is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing HR processes across the employee lifecycle, employee relations, fostering a positive company culture, and more. The right candidate will be proactive, organized, and people-focused. This is an incredible opportunity for someone looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment and manage HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding (employees, interns, and freelancers), and offboarding.
  • Implement and maintain all HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead employee relations, actively advance SET ACTIVE company culture, and maintain excellent workplace morale.
  • Support company culture by building relationships and addressing engagement gaps.
  • Guide employees and managers through performance reviews, PIPs, and career development planning.
  • Investigate claims, complaints, and concerns raised by members of the SET ACTIVE team, ensuring timely response, thorough investigation, and quick resolution.
  • Coach managers on employee relations and best practices.
  • Act as the in-house expert on federal and state employment law, tracking and updating internal policies for perpetual compliance as laws change.
  • Responsible for facilitating employee training to be compliant with all employment laws.
  • Oversee employee benefits administration, partnering with leadership to secure competitive offerings.
  • Maintain accurate employee records through our HRIS.
  • Coordinate office-related tasks such as parking passes, celebrations, and holiday decor.
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources roles supporting a blended exempt/non-exempt workforce.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of employment labor laws and regulations.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and adapt to the HR demands of a rapidly growing business.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
