HVAC Service Tech Pay Range (Hourly) $40 to $45 an hour depending on experience Experience:
- 5+ years' service experience specific to commercial and multi-family HVAC systems.
- New commercial/multi-family construction.
Responsibilities and Duties (Essential Job Functions)
- Perform trouble shooting and repairs to Commercial/Residential HVAC Equipment.
- Must be able to fill out daily records and job info sheets.
- Some on call may be required.
- Daily JSA's/Warranty reports to articulate the nature of and solutions performed while completing warranty requests.
- New equipment start-ups including start-up reports.
- Install HVAC air conditioning systems for residential/ commercial properties.
- Layout and installation of line-sets and control wiring to meet manufacturer specifications.
- Ensures all work is performed using proper installation procedures and safety practices.
- Wear PPE at all times.
- Have a passion for teaching others the trade. Demonstrates patience, good teaching skills, and shares knowledge with apprentices.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Site-Superintendent or Project Manager.
- Always treats others with respect and dignity and incorporates UMC's Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative in servicing customers and maintaining positive customer relations.
- Possess an EPA Universal Certification.
- Knowledge of VRV/ VRF multi-flow systems.
- Carrier VRF Certification is a Plus.
- Qualify to drive a company vehicle.
- NATE Certification a Plus.
- RMGA & EPA Certifications.
- Computer skills.
