Responsibilities:
- Conduct radio performance characterization according to 3GPP standards.
- Conduct compliance and regulatory testing in partnership with 3rd party test labs in the areas of EMC, Environmental, Reliability, and RF performance.
- Develop automated test procedures using Python.
- Prepare lab environment including both hardware (test equipment) and software components.
- Produce documentation including test specifications and test reports.
- Perform statistical analysis of measurement data.
- Perform troubleshooting to determine the root cause of performance issues and test failures.
- Drive continuous improvements of processes and product quality.
- Regularly update internal collaborators on project status.
- Hands-on expertise with RF lab equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and high-speed oscilloscopes.
- Understanding of applicable wireless technologies (e.g., LTE, 5G-NR) and industry standards (e.g., 3GPP, FCC).
- bility to maintain scripts and software in one or more of these languages: Python, LabVIEW, C#, Matlab.
