IAQ Business Development Manager (LA & OC Region)

About Us: We are a dynamic company with offices across California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington, specializing in IAQ Life Safety, Fire Doors, Fire Dampers, Fire Stopping, AHU & Duct Cleaning. We are seeking a motivated and skilled IAQ Business Development Manager to join our team in the LA & OC region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Sales & Estimation: Set up client-facing appointments, deliver sales presentations, provide quotes and proposals, and accurately forecast weekly sales numbers.
  • Project Management: Ensure each project is handled professionally from start to finish by communicating effectively with customers, Superintendents, foremen, and field workers.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor competition and gather current marketplace information on pricing, products, and delivery schedules.
  • Product & Service Improvement: Recommend changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Professional Development: Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.

Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven successful sales experience in a high-volume market.
  • Independence & Accountability: Ability to work independently with a strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Professional interaction with clients and staff, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Communication & Closing: Excellent communication and closing skills, with professional phone etiquette.
  • Goal-Oriented: Consistent focus on meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Territory Management: Experience in territory management, prospecting, and negotiation.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong industry knowledge and presentation skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work extended hours, nights, and/or weekends as necessary.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel regionally throughout Southern California and to other territories as needed.
