Job Details:
- Design, implement, and maintain databases that support ICAM systems, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, indexing, and optimization, to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage database security measures, including encryption, access controls, and audit logs, to protect sensitive identity and access data.
- Work closely with the ICAM Systems Administrator and other IT teams to integrate databases with identity management systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades to maintain optimal system performance.
- Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, data corruption, and access problems.
- Ensure databases comply with internal security policies, industry regulations, and audit requirements. Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for databases, ensuring data integrity and availability in case of system failures or breaches.
- Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline database management tasks, including backups, monitoring, and patching.
- Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to support security initiatives and ensure the integrity of ICAM databases.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position preferred.
- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience. In lieu of eight years' experience, certifications or past work may be accepted.
