Job Summary

The Implementation Director drives enterprise projects to completion while defining and controlling the scope, schedule, budget, and resource needs. This implementation director also acts as the liaison between IT and business leaders and the go-to person for the project from planning through deployment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist Strategic Case Development by gathering information from business sponsors and shepherding requests through to case completion and governance approval.
  • Leads a project team that develops, designs, and installs new enterprise applications, IT technical architecture, and infrastructure systems or improvements to existing systems.
  • Leads one or more medium-to-complex projects typically between $100,000 - $5,000,000 following project management methodology from initiation to closure.
  • Develops and monitors project budget including planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Assessing project performance and implementing changes to ensure the projects remain within the specified cost, schedule, and scope while meeting quality objectives.
  • Drives all project-related tasks to completion.
  • Tracks and measures program/project status and adherence to key achievements.
  • Solicits and analyzes data required for program performance metrics and reporting.
  • Completes post-project reviews, including measuring project results post-closure.
  • Develop innovative efficiencies to improve PMO processes across the organization.

  • Skilled in preparing reports for upper management regarding status


Qualifications

Education & Years of Experience
  • Associate's Degree plus 5-7 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 7-9 years of work experience


Certifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred)
  • Certified ScrumMaster (Preferred)


Additional Experience

  • Experience leading one or more complex IT projects
  • Experience with enterprise-level programs or projects (i.e. Enterprise Resource Planning, Electronic Health Records, cross-functional implementations)
  • PeopleSoft, Salesforce, or similar enterprise systems experience
  • Planview Project Portfolio Management Pro and Microsoft Project experience
  • Experience working in a Project Management Office (PMO) environment


Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
  • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate
$98,000 - $122,500 Salary
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
