Description of the Position
Various duties of this position include:
- Duties include controls for Inline Filling Systems equipment as well as Hinds-Bock equipment. Hinds-Bock has experience in the design, manufacture and selling of filling, depositing and pumping equipment.
- Project planning/system architecture design assistance
- Machine program development and implementation
- System testing/debugging/troubleshooting
- Work in liaison with team members, suppliers and clients
- Creation and development of technical documentation
- Provide field service support to staff technicians and customers
- Commissioning of solutions at customer sites, including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, travel could be up to 20%
- Train and mentor new employees
- Convey knowledge in presentations, SOPs, knowledgebase articles, client case studies, and white papers
- Develop & maintain relationships with key contacts, suppliers, and clients

Requirements
Qualifications of the Position
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer Engineering or related field (GPA of 3.0 min.)
- Minimum 5 years' experience with multiple technologies, such as PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, Servo Control, Machine Vision, etc.
- Minimum of 3 years project-based development experience
- Cradle-to-grave controls project experience/ownership

- PLC Ladder Logic Programming ( Studio 5000, RSLogix 500, Micro 850)
- HMI Design (FactoryTalk, C-More)
- Servo Controls (Kinetix, Kollmorgen)
- VFD Configuration / Controls (PowerFlex, Lenze Drives)
- Electronic Controls & Troubleshooting
Knowledge of Prox and Safety devices:
- Door Switches
- Cylinder Limits
- Safety Switches
- Laser, Photo Eye
Desired Qualifications / Skills
Familiarity with:
- SCADA
- Allen Bradley
- Automation Direct
- Siemens
- 1 year in food Industry (preferred)
