Program Overview Encompasses technical, engineering, data analytics, cyber security, management, operational, logistical, and administrative support for Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Cyber and Technology Security Directorate in three key offices/functional areas: Cyber Monitoring and Operations, Cyber Threat and Investigations, and Technology Innovation and Engineering State. About The Role Peraton is currently seeking an experienced Blue Team Lead to become part of Peratons' Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective and secure business processes. Location: Arlington, VA. Hybrid schedule/role. Role and Responsibilities: Blue Team's Lead is responsible for all standing team deliverables, development and execution of program strategy, all aspects of the resource lifecycle and development on the team, acting as the public face of the contract team in appropriate fora, and is responsible for resource allocation to all ongoing projects and tasks. * Maintains a general understanding of all team tools, platforms, products, procedures, and technologies;
* Effectively communicates via all media (email, meetings, briefings, reports, and calls) with team, all stakeholders, and management;
* Responsible for review, initial quality assurance, and final submission for all team deliverables;
* Manages all aspects of resource onboarding, development, maturation, growth, and potentially offboarding;
* Understands Continuous Threat & Exposure Management methodologies, foundational federal documentation and mandates that reinforce cybersecurity hygiene, and is able to provide technical and programmatic information assurance services in support of a variety of information systems;
* Conducts and performs vulnerability and exposure assessments, including development of risk mitigation strategies, to lessen identified risks to enterprise networks.#DSCM Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree is required with 12 years of minimum experience. An additional 4 years will be considered in lieu of education/degree. * Ability to manage resource allocation for all projects and tasks within the team
* Demonstrated written communication skills, communicating technical topics in an analytic fashion.
* Experience briefing individuals and large groups, ranging from the working to executive level.
* At least ONE of the following certifications is required: * CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP.
* U.S. citizenship required.
* An active Secret security clearance, with eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance. SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range Details Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
