Context
The Information & CDE Manager is responsible for managing the organization's Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring structured information flow, compliance with data standards, and optimizing digital collaboration. This role is critical in ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and security across multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will define information governance, implement best practices for data structuring, storage, and security, and support BIM, digital twin, and IT innovation initiatives.

Missions/Main Duties
1. CDE Management & Governance
- Establish and maintain a Common Data Environment (CDE) to ensure seamless collaboration among stakeholders.
- Define and enforce data governance policies, including classification, storage, access, and retention.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and other relevant industry standards.
- Define roles and responsibilities for information workflows within projects.
- Oversee document control and ensure structured filing systems within the CDE.
- Ensure version control, metadata tagging, and proper information retrieval mechanisms.
- Monitor data security and access permissions according to user roles.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal teams, suppliers, and external partners regarding data access and structure.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on using the CDE effectively.
- Support digital transformation initiatives, ensuring that all stakeholders align with data-sharing protocols.
- Lead the adoption and integration of new digital technologies into the CDE.
- Collaborate with BIM, IT, and project teams to improve workflows and automation.
- Support AI, analytics, and digital twin implementations.
- Ensure data management complies with GDPR, ISO 19650, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct periodic audits and health checks of data repositories and workflows.
- Identify risks related to information security and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Profile/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data management, document control, or digital collaboration environments.
- Strong understanding of ISO 19650 (BIM), CDE platforms, and industry best practices.
- Experience with document management systems (DMS) like Aconex, SharePoint, Bentley ProjectWise, etc.
- Proficiency in data structuring, metadata management, and version control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
- Knowledge of BIM, GIS, digital twin, or AI-driven data management.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL databases, or automation tools.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented - Ability to structure large volumes of data efficiently.
- Strategic Thinker - Aligns data management strategies with business objectives.
- Communication & Training Skills - Can translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability & Problem-Solving - Handles data challenges with a proactive mindset.
