Information Security Specialist

We are seeking an innovative, self-driven Information Security Specialist to join our team. This role requires a strong team player with a solid understanding of governance and technical risk management across an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will work independently while effectively collaborating with teams across the Bank to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. Strong technology risk knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent work experience.
  
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Information Security.
  
• Knowledge of Active Directory, database security, Windows security, O365, and Information Security best practices.
  
• Strong understanding of Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, FFIEC guidance, resilience, compliance requirements, and Risk Management.
  
• Experience working with cloud environments.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of personal integrity.
  
• Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+) are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs).
  
• Conduct periodic system access reviews.
  
• Develop and maintain information security standards.
  
• Perform risk assessments to evaluate potential vulnerabilities.
  
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery programs.
  
• Provide security awareness training for employees.
  
• Review alerts and reports for anomalous behavior.
  
• Enhance and update Information Security programs and policies.
  
• Develop and maintain a vulnerability management program.
  
• Participate in incident response efforts.
  
• Stay updated on the latest security threats, industry trends, and best practices.
  
• Engage with industry groups to expand professional knowledge and networks.
  
• Serve as a backup for user provisioning of core processing as needed.
  
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation: $90,000 a year
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
