Ford Component Sales, LLC (FCS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company aligned with the Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD). We are a flexible sales organization that directs resources toward revenue opportunities identified by FCSD.
We are in search of an Information Systems Director that oversees and leads the IT department and technical operations for the company. Responsible for all aspects of FCS' Information Systems, including the ERP, customer and supplier portals, EDI operation, CRM integration, analytics and all other systems.

We are in search of an Information Systems Director that oversees and leads the IT department and technical operations for the company. Responsible for all aspects of FCS' Information Systems, including the ERP, customer and supplier portals, EDI operation, CRM integration, analytics and all other systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Consults with management to analyze computer system needs for management information and financial operations, to determine scope and priorities of projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions
- Leads, develops and manages the Information Systems organization; responsible for identifying, hiring and developing required skillsets to meet company needs
- Identifies technology needs and recommends and develops plans for applications, systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing
- Manages the development, implementation, installation and operation of information and functional systems for the organization
- Develops, implements, and monitors management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance
- Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products
- Provides support to end users in the selection, procurement, usage, and maintenance of software programs and hardware
- Explores new technologies for future planning and potential implementation
- Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine costs and impact, and address problems
- Develops, maintains, and tests disaster recovery plans
- Ensures systems applications, policies and procedures support the Ford Finance Manual and Information Technology Procedures Manual
- Monitors performance against department objectives and the Ford System Control Review Program
- Owns the relationship with all external support entities and manages cross functional support teams, including external entities
- Facilitates, organizes and evaluates system support activities where external entities are involved
- Other duties may be assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology or related field.
- 7 years of related IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years management experience.
- Experience managing an ERP system, including database, application, facilities and related systems. SAP RISE and ERP implementation experience preferred.
