REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least five to eight years of similar or related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or formal certifications recognized in the industry
  • Network and/or security certifications preferred
  • Understanding and working knowledge of networking, firewalls, IPS/IDS, LAN/WAN/WLAN preferred
  • Knowledge and competency in credit union core systems; Correlation/Keystone preferred
  • Knowledge of SQL and Jaspersoft
  • Proven leadership skills

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Dependable; punctual and regular attendance
  • Willingness to learn new processes to grow
  • Demonstrated experience with platform and systems engineering in a public cloud environment, preferably Microsoft O365
  • Knowledge of AWS/Azure, MVi Laserfiche and SMA Technologies/OpCon experience is a plus
  • Experience with developing strategies for Disaster Recovery and continuity preferred
  • Requires analytical interpretation and flexible thinking; able to move between big picture and being detail oriented

JOB SUMMARY:
  • Leads and coordinates daily operations of IS department inclusive of but not limited to: Maintaining core-processing operations (Fiserv), Third party processes, network operations, data and telecommunications systems.
  • Maintains all credit union hardware and software systems inclusive of: Computer room servers and communications equipment, end user computers and related software, other peripheral equipment as relating to credit union operations, patch and release management as applicable to above and Information Security Programs and Systems.
  • Assist and contribute to the development of the infrastructure and operations strategy and roadmap.
  • Works with both internal and external partners relating to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery operations of Credit Union.
  • Develops and maintains policies and procedures for department. Ensures all IS operations comply with regulations and industry standards.
  • Works with both internal and external audit functions as required.
  • Plans, monitors and appraises job performance. Coaches, counsels, and completes corrective action for employees on an as-needed basis. Maintains staff by recruiting, developing, and maintaining job descriptions.
  • Coordinates training of IS personnel to ensure a competent, motivated, and well-developed staff are in place to meet current and future needs of the credit union.
  • Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiencies by keeping up to date with industry trends and regulations. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
