In this role, The IT System Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and managing MOVATI's infrastructure and operations technology framework. This framework empowers MOVATI IT to deliver exceptional business solutions to both our Team and Club members. The System Engineer will oversee and maintain the Microsoft-based environment, ensuring smooth and reliable operations across critical domains, including networking, process automation, identity management, and security.

To be successful, a System Engineer will proactively manage and optimize MOVATI's Microsoft environment, including Azure, Defender, Intune, and M365, ensuring security, compliance, and seamless automation. They will oversee network security, IAM, and cybersecurity frameworks while maintaining DNS, certificates, and release management processes. Strong problem-solving, project management, and vendor coordination skills are essential to align IT infrastructure with business goals. Success in this role requires a strategic, security-focused mindset and the ability to drive efficiency through automation and integration.

Role:

  • Oversees, maintains, and produces detailed reports on all aspects of the existing Microsoft environment, including Azure, Entra ID, Autopilot, Intune, Defender, Exchange, Microsoft 365, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Ensures the proper configuration, security, and monitoring of computer networks, encompassing WAN, LAN, and VPN.
  • Administers and enforces security policies, including those related to firewalls, endpoint protection, and access controls.
  • Designs, develops, and sustains system automation, integrations, user provisioning, and compliance monitoring processes.
  • Manages and updates public-facing DNS records, such as email protection settings, DNS domain configurations, and PKI/SSL certificates.
  • Designs, configures, and transitions the current device management framework to a unified Entra ID-based model.
  • Plans, deploys, and implements an MDM solution to manage MOVATI endpoints, including iOS and Android tablets, as well as BYOD devices.
  • Defines, implements, and oversees the administration of a robust Release and Change Management process.
  • Develops and executes an Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy leveraging Microsoft cloud capabilities.
  • Architects and implements a comprehensive cybersecurity framework, covering processes and protocols for prevention, detection, response, DLP, and user education.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of infrastructure design, delivery and management.
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of Microsoft cloud-based products, including Azure, M365, Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Entra ID, Intune, and Autopilot, ideally supported by relevant certifications. Possesses excellent proficiency in PowerShell scripting as well as DNS configuration and management.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, and relationship building skills, ability to establish rapport and excellent communication. Excellent people skills and a friendly, responsible, service-oriented attitude are required.
  • Ability to execute and deliver while maintaining a high level of stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Discretion and confidentiality are mandatory. The incumbent will frequently be asked to handle sensitive information.
  • Flexibility regarding assigned hours of work and ability to travel and visit clubs.
