  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Position Summary:
      • Manages day-to-day activities of IT services lines including network engineering and administration; desktop, help desk and field support services; server and storage system engineering and administration; information security engineering and administration; application development and administration; application integration development and administration; database engineering and administration; and data analytics and report development as assigned. The IT Manager oversees the staff performing duties which may include the analysis, design, programming, operation, installation, support and maintenance of information systems and applications. Works independently to manage the resources and work activities that are performed by IT staff and other groups and persons as assigned by IT leadership. Assists the IT leadership and SRHC Administration in creating the long-range plan and strategy for technology in support of SRHC goals and objectives. The IT Manager participates in budgeting process and manages expenses appropriately. The IT Manager provides leadership and management through coaching, empowerment, and facilitates a collaborative environment. The IT Manager is responsible for resource motivation, behavior management, productivity, retention, and high quality work results.
  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education
      • Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Biological Sciences or Associates Degree with four (4) years I.T. experience
    • Minimum Experience
      • 2 years supervisory experience preferred
      • 4 years hospital or ambulatory information technology applications experience preferred
      • Healthcare information systems supervisory experience preferred
      • 3 years healthcare I.T. project management experience preferred
    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • None
