What will the Information Technology Manager do?
The Information Technology Manager will lead our network infrastructure and application support efforts. They will be responsible for ensuring that our technology efforts are aligned with our overall business objectives and needs.
What is the Information Technology Manager responsible for?
As the Information Technology Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that supports the business goals and objectives.
- Manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including hardware, software and security systems.
- Able to lead a team of IT professionals to ensure the efficient and effective operation of all IT systems and services.
- Liaise with the company's software development team to install security updates, patches and feature enhancements of the company's operations system.
- Partner with other departments to understand and address their technology needs.
- Communicate IT updates, projects, and initiatives to stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.
- Provide training and support to employees on IT systems and tools.
- Stay current with emerging trends in IT technologies and provide recommendations for investment.
- Negotiate contracts for IT services and equipment procurement with vendors, partners and contractors.
- Develop and manage the annual IT budget, allocating resources to appropriately achieve desired outcome.
What knowledge, skills and abilities are required for the Information Technology Manager role?
As the Information Technology Manager, you should possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing IT strategies that drive business growth.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, security systems, and software development methodologies.
- Experience managing teams and resources to achieve business objectives.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Experience with AWS Cloud and multi-tenant Office 365 environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
