THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Information Technology Project Manager, you will lead as PID's business process and IT system functionality expert for all IT system development and modernization projects for the department. You will oversee the implementation of the project scope document for projects, as well as the change management process to ensure the implementation of the requested project scope. This professional will collaborate with program and IT leads to continually monitor the progress of project phases and to identify potential revisions needed to the initial schedule. A primary focus of this position is to ensure effective communication of technology changes and updates is provided to internal and external stakeholders.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • One year as an Administrative Officer 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Four years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management of staff work in public or private organization, including experience in personnel management budgeting or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
