Description:

Aleut Federal is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within scope. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of IT systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with ServiceNow is a significant plus. To ensure maximum flexibility and efficiency and to encourage cross training, employees will be assigned additional duties as necessary to ensure mission capability.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, from procurement through to delivery.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
  • Monitor and track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and that the final deliverable meets expectations.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders, including status reports, planning dashboards, and other communications as necessary.
  • Utilize ServiceNow to manage project documentation, track progress, and report on project performance.
  • Foster a collaborative working environment and build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work with customer counterparts to support IT equipment procurement process.
  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Escort vendors for project site surveys.


Requirements:

  • Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Degree requirement may be substituted for years of experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in IT project management, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with project management tools, including ServiceNow.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Must be able to work 100% on-site in Colorado Springs, CO.


Preferred:

  • Military and/or government experience
  • ITIL certification
  • Agile/Scrum certifications
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Security+ Certification


Locations: This position will be expected to perform duties at any customer facilities within Colorado Springs.

Rate: $100K-$130K
