We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect with a strong background in Windows systems, virtualization, networking, and multi-domain environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the selection and development of technology solutions, creating architectural designs, and leading the implementation of infrastructure strategies. The role requires both technical expertise and strong project leadership skills to ensure that systems are reliable, secure, and meet the needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business vendors and internal teams (Infra and Systems) to understand use cases and determine if they align with company standards.
- Develop Proofs of Concept (POCs) for new technologies and integrations.
- Conduct initial discovery work with internal teams, including tech stack evaluations and system integrations.
- Create architectural diagrams and documentation for system designs
- Act as the point person on the infrastructure side, focusing on virtualization and networking stacks.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide solutions.
- Oversee builds and implementation of infrastructure projects.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and integrity of enterprise IT architecture.
- Conduct capacity planning and assist in research on new products, services, and technologies.
- Act as the project lead in designing and reviewing new technologies and solutions
- Enforce design standards, policies, and strategies to ensure the security and integrity of the enterprise environment.
- Provide root cause analysis for complex technical issues related to platform and service performance disruptions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Solutions Architect.
- Strong experience with Windows domain services, VMWare, SCCM, Domain Integration, and multi-domain environments (Red Forest Model).
- In-depth knowledge of Layer 3 routing and networking.
- Experience with cloud platforms (PaaS, IaaS) and various virtualization architectures.
- Proficient in technologies such as Microsoft Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware, and storage platforms (3Par, EMC, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to lead technology solutions, design system integrations, and ensure interoperability.
- Solid experience with Microsoft technologies (e.g., SQL Server, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, Web API).
- Hands-on experience with security appliance technologies (IDS/IPS, Firewall, Proxy, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Linux and Nutanix.
- Familiarity with application architecture & solution design, including SaaS & IaaS cloud solutions.
- Experience with network security technologies (e.g., Next Generation Firewall, Web Filtering Proxy, etc.).
- Expertise in cloud technologies and integrations.
- Knowledge of UML modeling and business process modeling.
Certifications
