Job Summary
The IT Infrastructure Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with business goals and requirements. This role involves creating scalable, reliable, and high-performance infrastructure solutions while managing resources, budgets, and timelines. The IT Infrastructure Architect will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the infrastructure supports the organization's current and future needs.

The IT Infrastructure Architect will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the infrastructure supports the organization's current and future needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Design and Implementation:
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies and architectures that support business operations and objectives.
- Design and configure network architectures, servers, storage, and other critical infrastructure components.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, and cloud solutions.
- Analyze infrastructure performance to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability.
Develop and implement strategies for disaster recovery, business continuity, and data protection.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure infrastructure solutions adhere to industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement security measures and conduct regular audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of experience with cloud technology and strategic planning support.
- Proven experience providing strategic planning support for a federal government agency.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have the ability to pass a MBI background check (includes background check, credit check, tax record check)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree preferred.
