Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Minnesota, Maryland, New York, or Washington as set forth below.

THE WORK:
- You'll monitor and comment on LINXS health and safety programs, policies, procedures, and systems.
- You'll foster a proactive safety culture among stakeholders.
- You'll conduct periodic reviews of LINXS records for safety audits, inspections, and assessments.
- You'll perform on-site reviews and reporting to CPUC for compliance and effectiveness.
- You'll collect and analyze data for LAWA's Safety Management System, recommending improvements.
- You'll identify safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- You'll prepare reports for the Director of Automated People Mover Systems on system status and issues.
- You'll manage and escort visitors to maintain site safety and security.
- You'll interface with CPUC on safety-related activities, approvals, resolutions, protests, and appeals.
- You'll manage and update Passenger Transit Agency Safety Plan and Safety and Security Certification Plan.
- You'll ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and FAA regulations for APM operations.
- You'll review and comment on safety-related compliance documents and records.
- You'll ensure contractors and vendors adhere to regulatory and LAWA safety standards.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Transportation Safety, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of verifiable professional safety experience on heavy construction projects, preferably in an aviation environment
- In-depth knowledge of applicable safety regulations (OSHA, FTA, DOT, APTA, CPUC General Orders 143, 164, 172 and 175, etc.)
- Strong background in technical safety compliance and auditing
- Experience working with contractors, vendors, and multiple stakeholders in a complex operational environment
- Must at a minimum have an active Board of Certified Safety Professionals Certified Safety Professionals (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) credentials
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Master's Degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or related field, preferred
- Experience in rail transit environments
- Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and 49 CFR Part 673 regulations
- Experience applying and managing incidents using incident command systems and documentation
