The purpose of this position is to design, maintain, and support the IT Infrastructure for the City through a centralized IT Department. The position will require in-depth skills with routing, switching, firewalls, MPLS networks, and various network equipment. Troubleshooting and configuration of those devices is key to success in the position. This position also takes part in assorted needs of the department including virtualization, server management, backups, and security positioning; and ensures the reliability of the network and security of the infrastructure and completes or contributes to the documentation of all systems.

- Experience in a municipal or government setting;
- A Cisco Certified Network Associate upon hire.

- Education: Associate degree from an accredited institution in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field;
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related experience;
- Licenses/Certifications/Special Requirements: Valid Arizona Driver's License upon hire; ACJIS TOC-D within 6 months of hire, ITIL certification within 6 months of hire.
