Job Summary:The Program Manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. This role involves negotiating contracts and contractual changes, preparing proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. The Program Manager develops new business, expands the product line, ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, and develops solutions to program problems. They direct the work of incumbents assigned to the program from various departments, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Acting as an advisor to the program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations, the Program Manager relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

?Key Responsibilities:
Program / Project Execution:
- Oversee end-to-end execution and ensure on-time, on-budget, and on-scope delivery of the program and subprojects.
- Align the scope, budget, and timelines for individual projects with the program level.
- Monitor progress and ensure projects are executed according to the program plan.
- Manage financial, risk, and dependency aspects of the program.
- Collaborate with resource managers on resource planning.
- Provide guidance and input to project charters and participate in kickoff meetings.
- Analyze and recommend solutions to keep the program/project on track.
- Manage changes in program scope, objectives, requirements, and resources through the change management process.
- Collaborate with solution teams and other program/project managers to manage dependencies with minimal impact on delivery.
- Ensure adherence to release management practices and hold solution teams accountable for deployment and hypercare plans.
- Assist project managers in obtaining Go/No-Go signoffs and CAB/TAB approvals.
- Create and execute a program governance structure.
- Provide status reports to stakeholders at the appropriate cadence.
- Set and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Escalate issues when necessary and hold people accountable for risk and issue resolution.
- Act as a point of escalation for project managers and help resolve issues.
- Keep the Portfolio Lead informed of all risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Issue communication close-out emails and complete other close-out activities, including updating Clarity and conducting retrospectives.
- Mentor and coach project managers, holding them accountable for project execution.
- Collaborate with program and project teams, set clear expectations, and resolve conflicts.
- Follow IT processes for program execution.
- Ensure all artifacts, entry criteria, exit criteria, phase gates, and approvals are obtained and documented timely.
- Support audits by providing required evidence.
- Coach and mentor the program team on processes and tools.
- Actively participate in Communities of Practice (CoPs) to provide feedback and recommendations.
- Work towards continuous improvement of processes by identifying gaps and providing input to bridge them.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
- At least 10 years of experience in the field or a related area.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Ability to perform a variety of complex tasks with a degree of creativity and latitude.
- Typically reports to a unit/department head.
