- Works collaboratively with partners in IT Infrastructure and other areas, business areas and vendors in understanding and enhancing requirements
- Leads the design, build, validation, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure solutions in support of our current, and future business needs.
- Manage Financials for projects and work with the team to ensure that all aspects of Financials are taken into consideration (Labor, Vendors, Purchase Orders)
- Work in Waterfall and Agile environment
- In waterfall, lead the creation and maintenance of project governance documentation such as Project Charter, project plan, risks, issues, change requests
- In an agile methodology, facilitate the scrum ceremonies.
- Act in a scrum master role, they must execute the backlog as wished by product owner, making sure that deliverables are on time with production quality.
- Interacts with different departments/teams to remove impediments to ensure that project/initiative continues moving forward
- Work with our tools and processes
- Experience working with Portfolio and Project management Tools and Agile tools (preferably Jira)
- Escalate to management on a timely manner about risks, issues, dependencies that are hampering the success of the project
- Ensure compliance to project delivery methods, tools, framework, and IT controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Have experience working in Infrastructure space (Hardware, Hosting, Cloud, Network, etc.)
- Self-starter with the ability to lead teams through ambiguity to solve problems and drive results
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration; able to work well in a cross-functional environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientated
- Strong Financial acumen and understanding of Project Financials
- Bring a data-driven approach to decision making, both in day-to-day activities and when helping others make strategic trade-offs
- Self-starter with the ability to lead teams through ambiguity to solve problems and drive results
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration; able to work well in a cross-functional environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientated
- Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike
- Ideally, have experience helping teams on transitioning from Waterfall to Agile
