The IT Infrastructure Supervisor at Source Logistics is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all IT infrastructure, including equipment, networks, and systems across multiple warehouse operations. As the subject matter expert on physical hardware and networking, this role ensures the stability, security, and efficiency of IT operations to support business objectives and meet customer SLAs. About The Role:
The IT Infrastructure Supervisor at Source Logistics is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all IT infrastructure, including equipment, networks, and systems across multiple warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, deployment, and troubleshooting of all IT equipment, network infrastructure, and hardware used in warehouse operations.
- IT Support & Issue Resolution: Act as the first point of escalation for warehouse operations regarding system-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Hardware & Software Oversight: Manage and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- System Upgrades & Deployment: Lead installation, configuration, and upgrade of IT systems, software, and network components.
- Network & Systems Oversight: Manage and optimize network performance, Wi-Fi connectivity, server health, and security across all locations.
- Security & Compliance: Implement cybersecurity best practices, maintain IT policies, and ensure compliance with company regulations.
- Leadership & Team Development: Supervise and mentor IT support staff, providing training and career development opportunities.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Manage relationships with IT vendors and coordinate support services to enhance system reliability.
- Project Management: Lead infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, new technology deployments, and process enhancements.
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and operational continuity.
- Budget & Cost Management: Assist in developing and managing IT infrastructure budgets, optimizing costs while ensuring high-quality service.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and support procedure
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 2 years in leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of networking, server administration, Wi-Fi management, and enterprise hardware.
- Experience supporting warehouse or logistics IT environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux environments, Active Directory, and cloud-based technologies.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadline
